The Procedure of Adoption

1. Submit an Application: Complete our kitten adoption application form and tell us about your family, lifestyle, preferences, and the type of Ragdoll kitten you are looking for.

2. Application Review & Discussion: We review your application and contact you to discuss your preferences, including color, pattern, personality, size, and your preferred timing for bringing your kitten home.

3. Choose Your Kitten: Once suitable kittens become available, families on our waiting list receive priority to choose their preferred kitten. We recommend choosing based primarily on personality, color, pattern, and overall compatibility rather than gender, as all of our kittens receive the same individual socialization and care.

4. Reserve Your Kitten: Once you have chosen your kitten, a CAD $500 deposit is required to officially reserve them. We then provide a reservation confirmation and adoption guidelines which can help you to know what to prepare in advance and also how to welcome your kitten back home.

5. Preparation Before Going Home: Before leaving our cattery, your kitten will receive the required vaccinations, deworming, veterinary health examination, and sterilization according to our adoption schedule. We will also provide the necessary health records and Health Agreement.

6. Starter Kit & Insurance: Every adopted kitten comes with a generous starter package from our pet supply store, including essential food, litter, a litter box, carrier, bed, toys, grooming supplies, and other useful items. We also provide 30 days of complimentary pet insurance.

7. Pickup or Delivery: Once your kitten is ready to go home, we will arrange the pickup date with you. Typically, pickup is scheduled approximately 2–14 days after the sterilization surgery, depending on your kitten’s individual recovery and overall condition. We want to make sure each kitten has recovered comfortably and is fully ready before leaving our care.

If you prefer to take your kitten home at a later date after they are ready for departure, an additional boarding fee may apply, depending on the length of the extended stay.

You are welcome to pick up your kitten directly from our cattery. Alternatively, we can arrange delivery depending on your location. For families living outside the Montreal area, professional in-cabin delivery or cargo delivery can also be arranged to ensure your kitten travels as safely as possible.

8. Bringing Your Kitten Home: The detailed kitten-care guidelines helps your new Ragdoll kitten settle comfortably into their new home. We remain available after adoption to answer questions and provide guidance as your kitten grows whenever you need.

9. Ongoing Support: Our relationship does not end when your kitten leaves our cattery. We are always happy to support our families with questions about nutrition, behavior, grooming, adjustment, and the development of their Ragdoll.

10. If you are interested in available kitten/cat:

If you are interested in one of our available kittens or cats, please complete our adoption application form and send it back to us once you have filled it out.

Please also let us know the name of the kitten or cat you are interested in. We would be happy to arrange a video call with you so that you can meet the kitten virtually, or you are welcome to visit us in person at our cattery.

You could chosse to take the available kitten or cat on your convenience directly if you have made your decision. Or once you have made your decision and would like to reserve the available kitten or cat, a CAD $500 deposit is required to officially confirm your reservation. Once the deposit has been received, we will provide you with an official reservation confirmation and our kitten/cat care guidelines to help you prepare for your new family member. Usually we can reserve an available kitten or cat for 2-14 days for free after their sterilization surgery denpending on the recovery or 2-14 days for free after the reservation date.

We will then discuss and arrange the pickup or delivery date with you according to the kitten’s readiness and your preferred schedule.

Before your kitten leaves our cattery, we will make sure that all required vaccinations, deworming, health examinations, and sterilization have been completed according to the adoption plan. You will also receive the relevant health records and health agreement.

Our goal is to make the adoption process as smooth, transparent, and comfortable as possible—for both you and your new Ragdoll family member.
